The food was hands down the best breakfast I have ever had anywhere. I had the breakfast casserole with a side of cornbread and jelly. I don't even like cornbread, but I ate it and I've been craving it since. The place is adorable inside. It is a super old building so it was a little quirky. The floor under the table was nowhere near level, and I would say the place was probably as clean as it could get for an extremely old building. The service was fantastic. We went later in the day on a weekday, so we had no wait, although even then it was pretty busy in there. Would 100% go back again and recommend it to others.

It's hard to explain, but there's something about Strawberry Fair always makes me feel like I'm on vacation--maybe because of the antique charm and whimsy, it just kind of puts everything else on hold. Today I got the pancake--yep, pancake, singular--and I thought to myself they have a nerve offering only one pancake. Well, holy guacamole, that thing was as big as the plate and perfectly cooked with just a bit of crisp on the outside! Three bites in and I was already thinking about my next trip here! Also love that tea is served in a teapot. Long live Strawberry Fair!!

Not a bad little joint. Right next to the McLaren dealership. Breakfast and brunch seem to be their specialty. I ordered the corned beef hash as is my won't . It was tasty, the corned beef was real and not over processed. The thyme was different, not bad but different. The potatoes could use more time in the pot, some of the larger pieces were a bit al dente for me. I'll come back and try other dishes. The wait staff while busy was super.

Absolutely loved this restaurant!!! It is a former house that has been converted into a lovely, quaint little diner! Both outside and inside sitting provide a unique and pleasant experience given the beautiful decor of the place! Though we tried a variety of dishes, my personal favorite was the avocado lox toast and their amazing corn bread!! Trying the latter with their jam is a must! :) highly recommend it!!

WOW. It's been a while since I was THIS impressed with any restaurant, let alone a breakfast place. This spot is just as adorable as it sounds - it's an old historical home from the 1800's turned into a restaurant, with all the cozy old-house vibes included. If only these walls could talk! My husband and I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. I ordered the corned beef hash and omg!! I didn't expect it to be the BEST hash on the South Shore, but it sure was! I find a lot of corned beef hash to be overly salty, but not here! It was thin and crispy on the outside but soft, meaty and flavorful on the inside. I would eat this for breakfast everyday if I could... Don't even get me started on the cornbread!! I'd be shocked if this wasn't the best cornbread in America. Grilled on the outside, fluffy on the inside without being too heavy or too light; just amazing texture/taste. And the signature strawberry jam!! I wanted to bring a bucket of it home with me. It was phenomenal on the cornbread. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! :)

Met friends here for a breakfast/brunch. The parking lot was jammed, so had to park across the street at the plaza. The restaurant is an old Colonial house partitioned into a dozen tiny rooms bedecked with tables for 2-4 people. We were a party of 5 and seated fairly quickly at one of a few tables earmarked for larger parties. There are a plethora of hearty breakfast favorites and classics, and my initial decision was changed when I discovered the "quiche of the day" was bacon. The signature accompaniment to many breakfast dishes is their grilled cornbread and homemade strawberry jam, which was admittedly delicious, so much so, it can be ordered as a side, all on its own. This place was packed and if you have wide hips, navigate the space carefully! It's darn cute and the food was delicious! Service was top notch and I regret not getting our server's name. She was amazing and even helpful to one of our gluten-free friends. If you can, try going during the week when assumably people are at work! It closes early, so mind the clock!
